KidZone uses The Movie Database to power its catalogues. Grab your free API key at themoviedb.org/settings/api — takes under a minute.

Step 2 — Content Restrictions
Maximum Age Rating Filter movie and TV catalogues by US age ratings. G is strictly for very young children. PG is the default and includes most popular family animated movies (like Shrek or Minions). PG-13 includes teen action movies (like Marvel).
Restrict search to kid-safe content ⭐ Recommended for young kids When enabled, search only returns animated, family, and adventure titles — great when little ones use the remote alone.
Share a screen, keep your freedom Leave search unrestricted and parents can quietly search for any content they like — the home screen stays fully kid-friendly either way. Same TV, your call.
